New version of vrem emxpert released

In December 2017, Weier R & D team officially released vrem emxpert 2017b. This release mainly enhances the following features:

  • Electromagnetic coverage calculation and radar detection range coverage calculation support GPU acceleration based on CUDA architecture. Simulation acceleration can reach 50-100 times according to the capability and calculation scale of graphics card.

As shown in the figure below, it takes about 1 minute to use CPU to calculate a step size. The new vrem emxpert uses the GPU acceleration of nividia geforce GT 760 graphics card, which can reduce the calculation time to less than 1 second and achieve the speed of quasi real-time deduction.

  • New antenna model

The antenna in the new version of vrem emxpert supports three types of models:

  • Conventional antenna models include dipole antenna, spiral antenna, reflector antenna, square mouth horn antenna, etc

  • Pattern function model, including Gaussian Function pattern, etc

  • File import model, including. CSV data format from HFSS simulation, and. Uan data format from XFDTD, xgtd and wireless insite simulation

  • New platform trajectory model.

The new version of vrem emxpert supports the following motion trajectory models, in addition to the text-defined trajectory drive and mouse click trajectory definition mode, the following motion trajectory models are newly added:

  • The conventional trajectory includes circular, elliptical runway motion and uniform linear motion

  • Overload maneuver of aircraft

  • Missile trajectory model, including trajectory model of minimum energy prediction of ballistic missile

  • The satellite trajectory model includes geostationary orbit, geostationary tilt orbit, low and medium orbit two body model and SGP4 / SDP4 model
